Pan, Yuan Complete First Round At Olympics

Former Husky golfers Carl Yuan and CT Pan were able to complete their opening rounds Thursday morning at the Tokyo Olympics before inclement weather halted play at Kasumigaseki Country Club. Yuan opened with a 2-under 69 and Pan shot 3-over 74.
Once the dust settled and the rest of the field complete their rounds, Yuan finished day one of action tied for 20th with the likes of Masters Champion Hideki Matsuyami and Open Champion Collin Morikawa. Pan enters day two tied for 57th.
Yuan is making his Olympic debut, while Pan is making his second appearance after compete in Rio in 2016.
The field will play four rounds through Sunday at the par-71 Kasumigaseki Country Club course.
