Cleeland, who was teammates with Huard on the UW's 1995 Pac-10 co-championship team as well as on the 2002 New England Patriots, will make his debut behind the mic on Saturday, September 4 ,for the season-opening game against Montana.

In 2019, Huard, who also works in the UW athletic department as the director of community and external relations, announced that he would step away from his color commentary duties.

Cleeland joins play-by-play broadcasterΒ Tony Castricone, who begins his fourth year as the Voice of the Huskies.Β Elise WoodwardΒ returns for her 19thΒ year on the sidelines with the Washington Sports Network from Learfield IMG College. Lewis, who has worked as a radio analyst in various roles with the network previously, is now returning as a new member of the "Husky Honks."

Radio coverage begins four hours before kickoff on the network's flagship station: Seattle's SportsRadio 950 KJR with "Husky Gameday" live from The Zone for Husky home games.
