SEATTLE – The #5 Washington Huskies took a dramatic comeback win over the Utah Utes in game one Saturday, winning 6-4 after scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth. Kelley Lynch's three-run home run put the Huskies on top for good.

Washington trailed 3-0 going into the bottom of the fifth before a big rally late in the game. In the sixth inning alone, Washington brought nine batters to the plate, scoring five runs to take the lead. The Huskies had five hits in the inning, including Lynch's big home run.

Gabbie Plain was excellent in the circle, facing the minimum in five of seven innings. Plain recorded her 800^th career strikeout in the game, making her the fifth Husky ever to reach that mark. Plain joins Danielle Lawrie, Taran Alvelo, Jennifer Spediacci, and Ashley Boek in that regard.

Morganne Flores and Jadelyn Allchin had multi-hit games, with Allchin ripping a double and a triple. The Huskies had five extra-base hits in total, with Lynch, Allchin, Flores, and Sis Bates all recording extra-base hits.

		SCORING
Third Inning: Utah scored its first run of the year on a throwing error to take the lead. A bases-loaded walk doubled that lead to 2-0, then a groundout made it 3-0. Fifth Inning: Allchin's second ball off the wall of the day got the Huskies on the board: this time, it was an RBI triple down the leftfield line. Sixth Inning: Klingler and Flores started the inning on base, with Flores' double putting two runners in scoring position. A throwing error made it a one-run game, then Hee's single to center tied it up at three. Lynch then launched a three-run homer that made the difference in the game. Seventh Inning: Utah got one run with two outs on an RBI single but couldn't cut it closer than 6-4.

		NOTES
Allchin (2x2, 2B, 3B, RBI) is hitting .405 with nine runs and eight RBI when batting ninth this season. Bates (1x4, 2B) recorded her 60^th hit of the year, her fourth season of 60+ hits. She joins Taylor Van Zee and Kimi Pohlman as the only Huskies with four 60+ hit seasons in the last 15 years. Willis (1x3, R) extended her hitting streak to five games, hitting .461 in that time. Megan Vandegrift (R) has scored gone 2-for-2 with four runs in her last five appearances. Lynch (1x3, 2 R, HR, 3 RBI) is hitting .500 with three runs and four RBI this weekend.

The series finale will be tomorrow on Senior Day, as Washington and Utah face off at 12:00 pm.
