LOS ANGELES – The #4 Washington Huskies put together a clinic of two-out hitting, defeating the #2 UCLA Bruins 7-4 to even the series at one game apiece. The Huskies hit .538 with two outs, including four of Washington's five extra-base hits.

Morganne Flores and Baylee Klingler each hit two-run home runs as Washington managed 14 hits, its most of the Pac-12 season and its most since recording 16 hits in an 11-3 win over Hawai'i on March 5. Five different Huskies had multiple hits, led by Sami Reynolds' 3-for-4 day.

Washington scored runs in each of the first four innings, building the lead over and over even as UCLA chipped away with two early runs. The Huskies had baserunners in all but one inning in the game.

Gabbie Plain became the ninth Husky ever with 80 career wins, moving her season record to 24-1. After giving up runs in the first and second inning, Plain found her groove, giving up just three hits the rest of the way in the complete-game win.

		SCORING
First Inning: Back-to-back two-out hits by the Huskies put them up early. After Reynolds' dropped a single into short center, Flores sent a homer off the scoreboard for a 2-0 lead. UCLA added a run in the bottom half, making it 2-1 after an inning. Second Inning: The Huskies forced a pitching change just two batters into the second inning, with Rachel Garcia taking over for UCLA. Jadelyn Allchin got the job done, lacing an RBI single right back up the middle to make it 3-1. Again, UCLA chipped away, cutting it back to a one-run game with an RBI single in the bottom half. Third Inning: The Huskies scored for the third straight inning: after Flores' double to deep center, Noelle Hee chopped a single up the middle to allow Megan Vandegrift, who pinch ran, to score. Fourth Inning: After the first two batters went out, the top of Washington's lineup did some damage. Sis Bates doubled for Washington's fourth two-out hit of the day, then Klingler mashed her 14^th home run of the year for a 6-2 lead. Sixth Inning: Three straight hits by the Huskies built another scoring inning. It was Reynolds who had the RBI this time, looping a deep single between the left- and centerfielders to score Allchin. UCLA had a solo home run in the bottom half to cut it to a 7-3 game. Seventh Inning: Plain worked around the heart of the UCLA order, giving up one more run but getting the job done to finish the win.

Flores (2x4, R, 2B, HR, 2 RBI) is now third in Husky history in RBI, just seven behind Kristen Rivera for second. In her last 3 games, Flores has hit .400 with two doubles and two home runs. Reynolds (3x4, R, 2B, RBI) has hit .500 with six runs and four RBI since the start of last weekend. Klingler (2x4, HR, 2 RBI) has hit at least one home run against every Pac-12 opponent except Oregon State. Flores and Klingler remain tied for the Pac-12 lead in RBI in conference play, now with 18 each. Kelley Lynch (2x3) had her 50^th and 51^st career hits. Allchin (2x3, R, RBI) has hit .379 with nine runs, six extra-base hits, and 13 RBI in her last ten road games.
