Pro Dawgs In The NFL: Week Six Recap
October 20, 2021 | Football
NOTABLE PERFORMERS
It was another banner weekend for former Huskies in the NFL, with several players having outstanding games ... Taylor Rapp duplicated a feat that he did in the Pac-12 Championship game as a freshman in 2016. Against the NY Giants, Rapp picked off two passes to help the LA Rams escape New York with the win. He also had five tackles a QB hit and three pass defenses. On the other side of the ball, Dante Pettis was active for the Giants and caught five balls for 48 yards ... Vita Vea continues to have an All-Pro year and was credited with three tackles, a sack and two QB hits in the Buccaneers' Thursday night win over the Eagles ... the Cardinals keep winning, and Budda Baker (2 tackles) and Byron Murphy (6 tackles, 1 pass defense) keep making plays ... the Raiders got back into the win column and Cory Littleton was a big factor, notching 11 tackles, a half-a-sack, a QB hit, and knocking down one pass ... Will Dissly shined for the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football, catching his first touchdown of the season, and Sidney Jones notched six tackles ... and finally, on Monday Night Football, Elijah Molden had nine tackles, including one tackle-for-loss to lead the Titans past the Bills.
