Wattenberg Named To Rimington Trophy Watch List
October 14, 2020 | Football
Washington's Luke Wattenberg, the leading candidate to take over as the Huskies' starting center, has been named to the watch list for the 2020 Rimington Trophy, given annually to the nation's top collegiate center.
Wattenberg, a senior from Trabuco Canyon, Calif., has started all 27 games over the last two seasons, as well as five more in 2017. He's the probable replacement for his high school classmate, Nick Harris, who moved on to the NFL after last season. Wattenberg, a product of JSerra Catholic, has served as the Huskies' left guard for the last two years.
