University of Washington athletic director Jennifer Cohen announced yesterday the hiring of Nicole Van Dyke as the next head women's soccer coach on Montlake. Van Dyke, who becomes the third head coach in program history, spent the last five seasons leading the Ivy League's University of Pennsylvania after a four-year stint at Stanford.
The Husky women's basketball team closes out its three-game road trip today at No. 5 Stanford in Maples Pavilion at 2:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
Washington men's basketball continues its Pac-12 opening weekend in Seattle as it welcomes USC to Alaska Airlines Arena tonight at 7 p.m.
