Fall 2019 Academic Results

The most recent fall term saw Husky student-athletes at the University of Washington continue to excel academically with another stellar quarter in the classroom. Some highlights from Fall 2019 were:
- Overall department GPA was 3.27 – a new all-time high since tracking started in Fall 2003, besting the 3.26 set in Fall 2017
- 21 of 22 sport programs earned a 3.0 team GPA or better
- Women's golf set a program and department all-time high with a 3.77 team GPA
- 12 programs earned a 3.30 team GPA or higher (beach volleyball, women's cross country, women's golf, gymnastics, men's soccer, women's soccer, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, women's track & field (indoor & outdoor), volleyball)
- Team GPA awards were earned by women's golf (3.77 GPA; women's small team), softball (3.41 GPA; women's large team), women's track & field (3.41 GPA; women's large team), men's tennis (3.39 GPA; men's small team), and men's soccer (3.34 GPA; men's large team)
- Women's golf and men's golf saw the biggest improvements in team GPA
- 427 student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA or better (73% of student-athletes)
- 159 student-athletes made the Dean's List
- 17 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA
