Get To Know The Huskies: Blake Bodily

Junior Blake Bodily is entering his junior year as one of the top players in the Pac-12. The two-time All-Pac-12 first-team selection has tallied five goals and 12 assists, giving him a hand in one-third of UW's goals over the last two seasons. Recently, he was named to the Hermann Trophy preseason watch list and named a preseason Second Team All-American by College Soccer News.

1. Why did you choose Washington?
I chose Washington because of the incredible soccer program and because of how welcoming the coaches and players were on my visit.
2. When did you start playing soccer?
I started playing soccer at 3 years old.
3. What is your earliest or favorite soccer memory?
My earliest soccer memory is playing soccer with my whole family in the back yard of house.
4. Who are your four favorite soccer players?
My favorite players are Eden Hazard, Lionel Messi, and Darlington Nagbe
5. What is your favorite professional soccer team? How did you become a supporter?
I do not have a favorite soccer team I just enjoy watching some good soccer.
6. What sport would you play if you didn't play soccer?
If I didn't play soccer I would probably try and play golf even though I am not very good at it.
7. What is the best advice you have ever received?
The best advice I have ever received is to always try my best in everything I do. No matter how big or small.
8. What is your favorite place to go around Seattle?
My favorite place around Seattle is Gas Works and Alki Beach.
9. What is one random fact that people wouldn't know about you?
One random fact people don't know about me is that I am the youngest of 5 kids.
10. What song would you sing at Karaoke night?
I would sing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen

Taking things without asking

My favorite movie is Guardian of the Galaxy
