Gabbie Plain Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

SEATTLE - Gabbie Plain was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team today, Washington's first selection to the Academic All-District Team since Ali Aguilar. Plain is the 11th Husky ever to be named to CoSIDA's Academic All-District Team.
A pre-science major, Plain was recently named All-Pac-12 First Team for the second time in her two-year career for her excellence on the field. She is one of six Pac-12 players to be named Academic All-District.
Having been named to the All-District First Team, Plain will now be eligible to be named an Academic All-American. CoSIDA will announce its Academic All-American team in June.
Washington finishes the regular season with a three-game series against Stanford. The NCAA Selection Show will be Sunday, May 12 at 6:00 pm.
