
Winter 2019 Academic Results

SEATTLE – The most recent winter quarter saw Husky student-athletes at the University of Washington continue to excel in the classroom, raising their standard of academic excellence. Some highlights from Winter 2019 were:
- 18 of 22 sport programs earned a 3.0 team GPA or better
- Five programs earned a 3.50 team GPA or higher (men's cross country, women's cross country, gymnastics, softball, and women's tennis)
- Team GPA awards were earned by women's cross country (3.60 GPA; women's small team), softball (3.51 GPA; women's large team), men's cross country (3.50 GPA; men's small team), and men's soccer (3.32 GPA; men's small team)
- Men's cross country and women's tennis saw the biggest improvements in team GPA
- 382 student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA or better (69% of student-athletes)
- 157 student-athletes made the Dean's List
- Nine student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA
