Huskies Finish Play At PING Cougar Classic

PROVO, Utah – The Washington men's golf team finished in 13th place at 22-over par at the PING Cougar Classic. The Huskies carded a 10-over round of 298 on Saturday at Riverside Country Club.
Freshman Ranveer Grewal finished the tournament tied for 41st place at 3-over par after carding a 1-over round of 73 in his final round of play. Grewal played steadily all three rounds as he recorded 46 pars, the best in the field.
Sophomore Jan Schneider shot a 3-over round of 75 to finish at 5-over par and in a tie for 52nd place.
Junior Henry Lee tied for 69th place at 11-over par after he posted a 5-over round of 77.
Senior William Mansfield ended at +12 and tied for 72nd place after shooting a round of 81 on Saturday.
Freshman Padraic Sim shot a 1-over round of 73 and finished tied for 76th place at 14-over par.
BYU won the tournament at 24-under par, five strokes ahead of second place Boise State. Peter Kuest of BYU was the individual winner at 17-under par.
The Huskies will next be in action at the Pac-12 Championships at Eugene Country Club, April 22-24.
