Robert Galligan Joins Class of 2020 for UW Menโs Golf

SEATTLE โ The University of Washington men's golf team got even stronger on Saturday as head coach Alan Murray announced the signing of Robert Galligan for the Class of 2020. He joins Taehoon Song, Chuan-Tai Lin and Drew Warford who will all be coming to Montlake next season.
"Robert is someone that has his best golf ahead of him," said head coach Alan Murray. "He is an extremely alented player and we are really excited to work with him on a daily basis. He hits the ball a long way and has great touch on and around the greens. He is an extremely smart guy and made a great impression on the team during his official visit. Galligan is a really versatile, affable intelligent guy. I believe he will flourish here at UW and in the college golf environment."
Galligan heads to Seattle from Ireland where he was a standout player as a member of the Irish Boys team. ย He finished 12th at the Connacht U18 Boys Championship and 12th at the Irish Boys Amateur Championship in the last year. He will join Song, Lin, Warford in the 2020 class for the Huskies, who's depth will be very strong as Washington loses just one senior this season. ย
