November 13, 2019 | Softball
OKLAHOMA CITY - Washington head coach Heather Tarr earned a spot on the USA National Team coaching staff, USA Softball announced. Tarr will be a part of the USA Olympic Team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she will coach former Husky Ali Aguilar.
Tarr also serves as the USA Junior National Team coach. In that capacity, Tarr helped Team USA win the World Cup this year. That roster included three current Huskies in Madison Huskey, Kelley Lynch, and Jadelyn Allchin. She has also served as an assistant coach with the USA National Team before becoming the Junior National Team head coach.
Tarr will still coach this year with the Huskies before heading to the Olympics. The 2020 Olympics will begin July 24 in Tokyo. Washington's 2020 season will begin this February as the Huskies start on the road at the Buzz Classic in Atlanta, Georgia.
