Eight Huskies Earn NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Eight Huskies earned the NFCA's All-America Scholar Athlete award today in recognition for their excellence in the classroom as well as on the field. Kaija Gibson, Noelle Hee, Amirah Milloy, Rachel Ogasawara, Gabbie Plain, Sami Reynolds, Francesca Torraca, and Brittany Werre were all honored by the NFCA with this award.
Gibson, Plain, Hee, and Milloy all also earned Pac-12 All-Academic awards this year, with Gibson and Plain both making the Pac-12's First Team. Hee earned All-Academic Second Team honors while Milloy was named Honorable Mention.
To be eligible for the NFCA's All-America Scholar Athlete award, athletes must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 over the full academic year, including during the heart of the season.
The Huskies 2020 season kicks off soon, with the annual Husky Fall Classic set for October 11-13.
