Rounding out the doubles was Gallagher and Kopcalic, who beat Portland State's Melinkoski/Valk 6-3.Β
"I think even though it has been a long couple of days, everyone came back strong and was disciplined to do their jobs," said Arakawa. "I was happy that the energy was pretty high. I think we took our responsibility on each court and that was good to see."
"I felt okay about my matches today," said Zupancic. "There is always space for improvement and that's what the next two-and-a-half months are for. It was good for us to see where we stand against a Pac-12 team like Oregon. It was important for us to give it our best shot and see how it goes and I thought overall it went well and should be happy with the performance."
