SEATTLE – On Tuesday, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the preseason national rankings in which senior Stacey Fung was ranked ninth in the nation for singles, while sophomore Vanessa Wong earned the 25th spot.
The doubles team of Fung and Wong was ranked at No. 40 in the preseason doubles poll as well. Last season Wong went 18-4 playing primarily with Mika Kobayarshi in doubles play while Fung was 16-15.

Wong began her Husky career strong by recording a 28-9 record in singles, and an 18-4 record in doubles play. Throughout the season, Wong won eight singles matches against players ranked inside of the Top-100. Wong also advanced to the second round of the 2018 NCAA Women's Tennis Singles Championships.
