SEATTLE β The University of Washington athletic department in partnership with Washington IMG Sports Marketing announced the launch of an updated Go Huskies app. The interactive app provides fans with real-time updates and enhances the fan and gameday experience.Β
Β
"In a market like Seattle, with a fan base like the Huskies, it was imperativeΒ to launch an app that meets our fans' unique needs and quality expectations and we think we've done that," said Steve Gahler, Washington IMG Sports Marketing General Manager.Β "The Huskies have a tradition to match any school in the country and now we're launching a mobile app with a focus on the future that will allow Dawg fans to easily access Husky content, including live football and basketball coverage, on their phone 24/7."
Β
Highlights on the updated app include the ability to receive push notifications right to mobile devices with customizable updates and exclusive promotions. Free audio streams of Husky football and men's basketball will be available and student ticketing will all be done via the app. Additionally, schedules and rosters, social feeds and the ability to integrate in-game fan experiences will be housed within the platform.

IMG will continue its proud partnership with Washington Federal as the official sponsor of the app for the second straight year.Β
Β
"Washington Federal is proud to bring you the Husky download again this season," said Brad Goode, Washington Federal SVP/Director of Communications, Marketing & Community Relations.
