Washington Rowing will be well represented this weekend at the third World Cup regatta of the summer, in Lucerne, Switzerland. Racing begins with heats on Friday and concludes with finals on Sunday.
Under the direction of UW men's rowing coach and U.S. under-23 coach Michael Callahan, the American under-23 program will have a large presence at the Rotsee rowing venue (http://www.lucerneregatta.com/) as the U-23 men's eight and coxless four will both row against senior-level competition, in preparation for the Under-23 World Rowing Championships later this month in Poland.
The U.S. men's eight includes six UW athletes: coxswain Rielly Milne '18 and rowers Chris Carlson '19, Andrew Gaard '19, Samuel Halbert '20, Arne Landboe '18, and Madison Molitor '19.
