March 09, 2018 | Softball
SEATTLE - Registration for Washington's summer softball camps is now open, with the Huskies offering clinics in all aspects of the game through the summer months. Washington will offer player academies, advanced infield clinics, pitching and hitting clinics, Mini Dawgs camp, and the first-ever Saturday Night Lights camp. Registration for all camps is available online.
The first opportunity for young softball players this summer will be the June 19th player academy. The two-day camp provides a personal experience for players, coaches, and teams of all levels, ages 10-18. Participants will have a custom-tailored softball experience, learning what it takes to be a Husky with mental game training and on-field drills. Washington will offer a second player academy later in the summer, on July 24 and 25.
Washington will offer three camps on June 21 covering all aspects of the game for young players aged 10-18. Spaced throughout the day will be an advanced infield clinic, pitching clinic, and hitting clinic, allowing campers to learn in-depth some of the most important facets of the game
Washington's first-ever Saturday Night Lights camp will be open for all ages on July 21. This camp provides an opportunity for campers to truly experience the entire offensive routine of the Huskies. Campers will go through three hours of offensive drills just like the Huskies, learning how to succeed at the plate.
The final summer camp for the Huskies will be August 6 as Washington hosts the Mini Dawgs camp for those ages 7-11. This fun-filled camp will also teach participants every facet of the game, with instruction on pitching, catching, defense, and hitting. Campers will get to play a plethora of mini-games throughout the day, with offensive and defensive skill stations mixed in as well.
All information on Washington's softball camps and clinics is available online.
