SAN FRANCISCO - For the fourth time this season, the #1 Washington Huskies were honored by the Pac-12 with the Player of the Week award, with Julia DePonte taking home the first of her career.Β Gabbie Plain was also named the Freshman of the Week by the conference.Β The pair helped lead Washington to a 5-0 week, including two wins over #11 Alabama.

DePonte joins Taylor Van Zee and Kirstyn Thomas as Huskies who have won Player of the Week this year, with Thomas having been so honored twice. Washington has never had more than four Pac-12 Player of the Week awards in one season.
