
Gymnastics Public Address Announcer Opportunity

SEATTLE - Washington Gymnastics is looking for an experienced public address announcer to be the voice of the GymDawgs this season. This is an opportunity for someone with experience announcing at gymnastics meets to work closely with the GymDawgs and be a part of every meetday experience. The future voice of the GymDawgs will be expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of gymnastics as a sport and a familiarity with the Washington program. The ability to work a flexible schedule and work in a fast-paced environment are key. Applicants should have experience announcing collegiate or professional athletic events.
The job's responsibilities include announcing all GymDawg meets, reviewing scripts, and working closely with the marketing team. This year, the GymDawgs have four regular-season home meets: January 26 against Oregon State, February 10 against UCLA, March 8 against Sacramento State and Iowa, and March 10 against Southern Utah. Washington will also have the Meet the GymDawgs event before the season, set for November 10 at 3:00 pm.
