Heather Tarr Named U.S. JWNT Head Coach

OKLAHOMA CITY - USA Softball announced today that Washington's own Heather Tarr will serve as the 2019 U.S. Junior Women's National Team head coach. Tarr has been an assistant with the U.S. Women's National Team for the last two years and helped the team to a WBSC World Championship.
As Washington's head coach, Tarr led the Huskies to back-to-back Women's College World Series trips the last two years. Last season, the Huskies finished second in the country and spent the entire season ranked in the nation's top five.
Tarr will lead the JWNT throughout 2019, including at the Junior Women's World Championship in Irvine, Calif. in August.
