Washington Hosts Husky Fall Classic This Week

SEATTLE - The Washington Huskies will have their first game action of the fall season this weekend when they host the Husky Fall Classic. The tournament will take place over two days, beginning on Saturday, October 14 and wrapping up Sunday, October 15. Tickets for the Fall Classic will be available at the door on gameday.
The Huskies will play four games over two days, with their first action on Saturday at 2:30 pm against Bellevue College. Washington will play Wenatchee Valley after that, with that game set to start at 5:00 pm. On Sunday, Washington will take on Western Washington at 4:15 pm and St. Martin's at 6:30 pm.
Washington will be wearing their Women's College World Series patches throughout the weekend, celebrating last year's trip to the national semifinals. The Huskies return 15 players from that team, including All-Pac-12 First Team pitcher Taran Alvelo and All-Freshman honoree Sis Bates.
