Husky Duo Falls In Doubles Semifinals At Ojai

OJAI, Calif. – The doubles team of Nour Abbes and Miki Kobayashi fell today at the Pac-12 Championships in a 6-4 loss to Melissa Lord and Carol Zhao of Stanford in the semifinal round.
Currently ranked the 34th duo in the country, Abbes and Kobayashi had beaten two tough opponents to reach the semifinals including the No. 5 doubles pair of Taylor Davidson and Caroline Doyle from Stanford.
This was the furthest a Husky duo had gotten in the doubles main draw at the conference championships since the 2010 season, when two Washington doubles teams fell in the semifinals.
