Washington Rowing Streaming Test
February 29, 2016 | Women's Rowing
Washington Rowing will test its online streaming technology on Monday, Feb. 29, at 3:30 p.m. The Huskies will broadcast an afternoon of races through the Montlake Cut. The men's and women's teams will each run their own set of Ham 'N Eggers, which are part of a series of races held throughout the winter in which boat lineups are scrambled. The races will be timed and results will be provided, and the live stream will include a test awards ceremony.
The live stream test will serve as an opportunity for fans to get a look into the Huskies' winter training, but more importantly, it will give Washington Rowing a chance to find ways to test and improve the online streaming experience. The test will include commentators and additional cameras in an attempt to simulate an in-season regatta. Washington Rowing would like to host the best streaming service possible.
