Baker, Jones Earn Spots On All-Pac-12 First Team

SAN FRANCISCO – Two members of the Washington secondary – cornerback Sidney Jones and safety Budda Baker – earned spots on the All-Pac-12 first team while two other defensive players, Travis Feeney and Taniela Tupou, earned second-team honors.
Six other Huskies earned honorable mention as the Pac-12 Conference announced its postseason honors, voted on by the league's coaches, on Tuesday.
Baker, a sophomore from Bellevue, Wash., led the conference's top defense from his free safety spot. The second-year starter finished the season with 42 tackles and a pair of interceptions.
Jones, a sophomore from Diamond Bar, Calif., and also a second-year, full-time starter at cornerback, finished the regular season tied for the Pac-12 lead in passes defended (13) and forced fumbles (3) while also finishing third in interceptions (4) and fourth in fumble recoveries (2). He scored a pair of defensive touchdowns this season.
Tupou, a senior from Marysville, Wash., served as a team captain and started every game at defensive tackle. He totaled 35 tackles, including four and a half for loss.
Feeney, a senior from Richmond, Calif., was the UW leader in both tackles for loss (15.5) and sacks (7.0) as the Huskies' starting buck linebacker.
The six Huskies who earned honorable mention were: freshman DL Greg Gaines (La Habra, Calif.), freshman TB Myles Gaskin (Lynnwood, Wash.), junior DB Kevin King (Oakland, Calif.), senior LB Cory Littleton (Spring Valley, Calif.), senior TE Joshua Perkins (Cerritos, Calif.) and sophomore linebacker Azeem Victor (Compton, Calif.).
