
Huskies Will Open 2016 Season At Baylor

SEATTLE – The Husky Baseball team released its 2016 schedule and it features a strong non-conference schedule along with 30 games against Pac-12 foes.
Washington will open the 2016 season on the road with a three-game series against Baylor in Waco, Texas. The Huskies and Bears will be facing off for the first time ever, starting Friday, Feb. 19 and running through Sunday, Feb. 21.
The Huskies then head to UC Riverside for a four-game series, Friday through Sunday, Feb. 26-28 before returning home for 16 straight games at Husky Ballpark.
The home opener for the Huskies is Friday, March 4 vs. Santa Clara. The Huskies are scheduled to play a four-game series against the Broncos through Sunday, March 6. Pacific visits Seattle the next weekend for a four-game series starting Friday, March 11.
Washington opens its Pac-12 schedule with six-consecutive games at home the following weekend. The Huskies host Arizona, Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20 and Oregon starting Thursday, March 24 through Saturday, March 26.
The Huskies wrap up their long home stand with a pair of games on Monday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 29 against Gonzaga.
The Huskies open April on the road in back-to-back weekends. They will play at Oregon State, April 1-3 and at Arizona State, April 8-10.
UW returns home for the first of three mid-week games vs. Seattle University on Tuesday, April 12 at Husky Ballpark before welcoming in defending Pac-12 Champion UCLA for a three-game series (April 15-17).
The Huskies visit Seattle U at Bellevue's Bannerwood Park on Tuesday, April 19 before taking on St. Mary's in a four-game series (April 22-24).
The Huskies host Seattle U one final time on April 26 before hitting the road to California in back-to-back weekends. They head to Berkeley for a three-game series against the Bears (April 29-May 1), followed by a three-game series in Los Angeles against USC (May 6-8).
Washington wraps up the home portion of its schedule with seven-straight games at Husky Ballpark from May 13-22. The Huskies host Washington State (May 13-15) followed by a single game versus Northern Colorado on Monday, May 16. They wrap up the home schedule with three games against Stanford (May 20-22), including senior day on Sunday, May 22.
The Huskies conclude non-conference play with a single game on Tuesday, May 24 against Washington State in Yakima before hitting the road to end the regular season in Utah. The Huskies will play the Utes, Friday, May 27 through May 29.
The Pac-12 Conference will announce its television schedule in December. Until then, all times on the GoHuskies.com schedule are subject to change.
