
Washington Softball Alumni Game Set For Sunday

SEATTLE - Some of the biggest names in Washington softball history will return to Husky Softball Stadium this Sunday, Oct. 18, for an alumni game, slated for noon. Over 20 alumni are expected to return to their alma mater and participate in a friendly game with the current 2015-16 Husky team.
The game will help celebrate the program's 24th season. Since 1993, Washington has made a name for itself as one of the nation's elite programs. The Huskies have made 22 consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament, 11 trips to the Women's College World Series and won the program's first national title in 2009.
Those expected to attend the game include All-Americans: Ashley Charters, Kylee Lahners, Danielle Lawrie, Heather Meyer, Jennifer (Cline) Ogee, Sara Pickering, Jenn Salling, Michelle (Church) Thompsen and Nikia Williams.
Fans are welcome and admission to the game is free.
