The Cougars took the doubles point in a close match. Elianne Douglas-Miron and Riko Shimizu cruised to an 8-2 win in number one doubles over Elizaveta Luzina and Lize Leenknecht. But WSU was able to take the point after two tight wins over Grace Ysidora/Natali Coronel, 8-6, and Julija Lukac/Andjela Nemcevic, 8-5.
Washington State went on to clinch the match with three straight singles wins. No. 107 Elianne Douglas-Miron fell 6-0, 7-6 (3) to No. 106 Elizaveta Luzinaon court one while Grace Ysidora dropped her match on court two, 6-4, 6-3.
Olga Musilovic of Washington State defeated Andjela Nemcevic 6-2, 6-2 to end the match. Lukac, Coronel, and Shimizu's play was stopped once WSU clinched.
Up next, the Dawgs head to No. 27 Oregon for a Noon match on Sunday, April 6th.
