Wilson on WILCOX: "Ending a career prematurely -- especially such a promising one -- is something none of us wants to face. The fact that Bridget did so with such maturity, courage, grace and poise is a testament to her strength as a person, and the support system she has in place through her family. She constantly amazes me by the never-ending ways in which she continues to contribute to this team. Bridget has outstanding intelligence and perspective, and an incredible thought process. The fact that she can provide that insight to player and coach alike is something special indeed. To go from the limelight of the competitive college athlete, to the roll of support system for 18 players and 3 coaches takes someone very special and very selfless. It was not a role Bridget sought, but it is one that she has filled with dignity, professionalism and great commitment."
