AS A FRESHMAN (2002): Appeared in 63 games at third base ... missed one game in February due to concussion ... third on the team with seven home runs and 33 RBIs ... nine doubles and 13 runs scored ... led the Huskies with six sacrifice bunts ... five game-winning RBIs ... six games with two hits ... third on the team in multi-RBI games ... one of three players to have tallied five or more RBIs in a game this season ... had five RBIs in a win over Tennessee-Chattanooga (Feb. 16), following that up with five more in the blowout of Santa Clara (Mar. 24) ... one of just four players in school history to have hit more than one grand slam in their career, tying Jaime Clark with two apiece ... her first career home run and second career hit was a grand slam, as UW crushed CSU Northridge, 10-0 ... second grand slam was against the Lady Mocs (Feb. 16) ... notched first career start in the team's season-opener with Long Beach State ... hit two doubles in three at-bats against Louisville ... had a solo home run in the team's sluggfest with Brigham Young (Mar. 1) ... tallied two hits in the Kia Klassic tournament opener versus Utah ... made her home debut a memorable one with three RBIs and a triple against Simon Fraser ... went 2-for-2 with the five RBIs in the first game of a doubleheader with Santa Clara ... had a two-run double, a sacrifice fly and a two-run home run against the Broncos ... hit two home runs in the three-game UCLA series ... two straight game-winning RBIs on April 2 in a non-conference game with Portland and versus Stanford ... her two-run double off No. 2 Arizona pitcher Jenny Gladding in the final weekend of Pac-10 play broke a 1-1 tie and was the game-winner ... went 2-for-2 against Michigan in the Regional Tournament with a double and a RBI.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters in softball at Linfield High School under coach Scott Rafferty ... one of just 16 players in the nation named to the 2001 Louisville Slugger/NFCA High School All-America first team ... 2001 preseason All-American by Student Sports Magazine, along with teammate Ashley Boek ... served as team captain as a senior, leading Linfield to the CIF title and the Christian League championship ... team finished second in league play her junior season ... also earned three letters in basketball ... member of the honor roll ... played two years of summer ball for the California Choppers under head coach Gary Faucett ... participated in the 2001 ASA National Tournament in Murrieta, Ga.
