AS A JUNIOR (2002): One of 10 finalists for USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year... USA Softball National Team Camp Invitee ... Seattle Post-Intelligencer Sports Star of the Year finalist … first team All-Pac-10 for the third straight year ... two-time Pac-10 Player of the Week (3/4, 4/1) ... ranked first on the team in nearly every offensive category, batted a career high .431 with 59 runs scored, 84 hits, 14 doubles and 19 home runs ... led the nation with 75 RBIs ... ranked first on the team in stolen bases with 24 on 26 attempts ... hit a team-best .433 in Pac-10 games ... broke the school career record for home runs early in the season, hitting her 44th in a win over UNLV on March 1 ... has now hit 56 home runs in her career ... became the fourth player in school history to hit more than one grand slam in their career ... had a grand slam in a win over Boston University, after hitting her first a year ago at ASU ... owns school record for games with two home runs, tallying three in 2002 to move her career total to six ... for the second straight year, hit a home run when the opposing team was trying to intentionally walk her, doing so versus Hofstra this year and against Nebraska in 2001 ... hit home runs in three consecutive games at the Red Desert Classic ... had an 18-game hitting streak from March 2 - April 6, second-longest in school history and in the Pac-10 ... reached base at least once in 53 consecutive games between May 4, 2001, and April 7, 2002 ... had a hit in 45 of those games, while getting on base via walk or hit by pitch in eight others ... reached base at least once in 62 of 64 games, including 52 games with at least one hit ... had three, five-RBIs performances this season, while boasting a career best six in against Boston University ... six runs scored, 11 total bases and a 1.333 slugging percentage in five games at the Red Desert Classic, March 1-3 ... had nine RBIs in a doubleheader at No. 19 Pacific on March 26 ... one of just four Husky players to ever record 100 total bases or more in a season three times in their career ... led the team with 10 game-winning RBIs ... 24 multi-hit and 20 multi-RBI games … 3-for-4 with three RBI in an upset of No. 1 UCLA on March 30 ... AS A SOPHOMORE (2001): Continued her assault on the Husky record books, earning All-America honors for the second consecutive season ... one of three UW players named to the third team ... first team All-Pac-10, leading the team in conference batting average with a .412 mark ... second team All-Pacific Region ... hit a then-career-best .379, ranking first on the team in nearly every offensive category, including runs (51), doubles (11), triples (5), home runs (14), RBI (52) and total bases (130) ... started and played in 62 games, missing first career game versus Arizona on April 6 ... started 56 games at shortstop and three each at first base and right field ... one of the team's three captains ... tabbed for both Pac-10 and NFCA National Player of the Week honors, after batting .615 in the team's four games from April 24-28 ... became the first UW player to earn the national honor twice ... 20 multi-hit games and 15 games with more than one RBI ... team-best nine game-winning RBIs ... hit her first home run of the year in the team's extra-inning win over Georgia ... singled, doubled and tripled in the Huskies come-from-behind victory versus Maryland ... 2-for-2 with three runs scored and three RBIs in the first game of the double-header with Tennessee-Chattanooga ... had four RBIs in the team's win over Michigan State ... launched a three-run home run to beat Nebraska at the Red Desert Classic ... celebrated her 20th birthday with a two-run home run in the Huskies 5-1 upset of No. 5 Stanford on March 31 ... career-best 20 putouts in the team's 14-inning game with UCLA .. hit two home runs in UW's 6-0 victory at Portland State on April 24 ... three doubles in two games versus Stanford (April 27) and California (April 28), with one driving in the game-winning run ... hit her first career grand slam in the team's 7-1 win over Arizona State on May 11 ... earned NCAA Regional All-Tournament honors in Oklahoma after hitting .500 (7-for-14) ... also led the field with six runs scored, 12 total bases, four walks and two doubles ... scored the game-winning run in UW's 8-0 victory over UMass ... 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI in the team's second game with the Minutewomen ... knocked a solo home run in the Huskies' loss to Oklahoma in the regional final ... team co-Most Valuable Offensive Player along with Kelly Hauxhurst.
WITH USA SOFTBALL: One of four Huskies invited to the USA Softball Women's National team camp in late May 2001 ... joined teammates Tia Bollinger and Kim DePaul on the USA Blue team, which competed in three tournaments over the summer of 2001 ... started all 24 games at shortstop ... helped power the USA to a gold medal at the Pan Am Games Qualifier in Venezuela, earning All-Tournament honors ... led the field at the Pan Am Qualifier with a .483 batting average, including 19 of the team's 63 RBIs ... one of three UW players invited to the women's national team camp in Chula Vista, Calif., in January 2002 ... also part of the U.S. Junior squad, which finished second at the 1999 ISF Junior Women's World Championship in Taipei, Taiwan.
AS A FRESHMAN (2000): Quickly established herself as one of the best players in UW history ... one of four Husky players to play and start in all 71 games, splitting time between the outfield and shortstop ... first on the team in total bases (176) and second in batting average (.362), hits (79), doubles (24), triples (2), home runs (23), RBIs (67), slugging percentage (.807) and stolen bases (14) ... ranked first in the nation in total bases with 176 and second nationally in home runs and doubles ... also third in slugging percentage and 16th in RBIs per game (0.94) ... tabbed for second-team All-America honors by the NFCA and Louisville Slugger ... joined former standout Becky Newbry as the second true freshman in UW history to earn All-America accolades ... a first team All-Pacigic Region and All-Pac-10 selection ... named to the College World Series (CWS) All-Tournament team after hitting .429 (3-for-7) with three RBIs and a 1.000 slugging percentage in the three games ... doubled in the team's only runs in the CWS loss to UCLA ... hit a solo home run in her first CWS at-bat against DePaul ... hit .308 in the four-game NCAA Regional with three runs scored, four RBIs and a pair of home runs ... sent two balls over the fence in consecutive at-bats at No. 5 Arizona State on May 6 ... 6-for-8, including five RBI in a double header against non-conference foe Port-land State ... belted the game winning two-run home run in a 3-1 victory over California ... smacked a home run in her first-ever at bat at Husky Stadium against Arizona State ... hit a home run in three consecutive games (April 2-8) and tallied 10 RBI during that span ... hit two home runs in one day to lead the Huskies to the Kia Klassic Tournament title ... earned NFCA Player of the Week honors after hitting .706 (12-for-17) at the Red Desert Classic ... had four home runs and three doubles for a 1.588 slugging percentage, along with a 1.000 fielding percentage at the Utah tournament ... earned the season's first Pac-10 Player of the Week honor, hitting .444 (8-18) in seven games, three against top-five opponents at the Arizona Pepsi Classic ... began her UW career by hitting a home run against the NCAA all-time career strikeouts leader, Courtney Blades, in the team's season-opening 9-4 win over Southern Mississippi.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team All-CIF Southern Section Division I honors as a shortstop her senior year at Foothill High School ... helped lead team to a runner-up finish as a sophomore, to the semifinals as a freshman, and to the quarterfinals as a junior and senior ... named the L.A. Times' Player of the Year her senior season ... earned first team All-CIF honors as a sophomore ... played for the Orange County Batbusters, which won the national title her sophomore year and finished as runner-up the next summer.
PERSONAL: An English major ... daughter of Cathy Ferry and Craig Clark ... has an older sister, Casey, 29, and brother, Chris, 27 ... father played college basketball at Utah ... Jaime Kathleen Clark was born March 31, 1981, in Newport Beach, Calif.
