Wilson on Walsh: "Shannon is very excited about the opportunity she has to come out and be a force on the mound for us. What you learn by watching in those first couple years, when success and failure isn't all put on your shoulders, has a lot to do with future success. Shannon has watched, learned and paid her dues. Now it's her turn to try and take this team. "Shannon throws a very heavy pitch and is more of the pitcher with the attitude. She's got a little bit of flair and just loves the challenge."
