1999 (Junior): Started all but one game on defense for the Huskies ... anchored a stingy defense which blanked opponents on six occasions ... tallied fourth career goal in 4-2 win over MPSF rival Oregon State.1998 (Sophomore): Played a significant role on the Husky defense, starting in 14 of the 17 games in which he played...netted his first career goal in a 5-1 win over Wisconsin in the NIKE Husky Classic... finished the season strong, with two assists and a goal in the Huskies' final three games, including an assist on the game-winner at defending national champion UCLA and in the NCAA first round against UNC Greensboro...totaled three goals and three assists on the year.
1997 (Freshman): Started the regular-season game against Stanford and appeared in five other matches...first played against St. Mary's midway through the season.
Club/High School
Played for the Under-17 national team for five months during the 1994-95 academic year...Scored winning goal in state championship games as both a junior and senior...Named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Washington in 1996 and 1997...member of the 1995 Umbro all-region team and all-Far West NSCAA squad...as a junior, led Eastlake to an unbeaten season (22-0-1) and a first-place finish in the KingCo before winning the Class AAA state championship under coach Jon Matsushita...served as captain his senior year...received several other honors, including team most valuable player (freshman and junior) and team most inspirational player (sophomore)...also participated in cross country and volleyball.
