Born Feb. 1, 1984 in Maple Valley ... daughter of Marion and David ... has an older sister, Erin, who is a student at Washington ... earned All-American honors with a 19th-place finish at the 2001 Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championships ... competed all four years at the state 4A cross-country championships, with a best finish of 21st in 2001 ... led Tahoma to an undefeated league record in all four years of competition ... was a three-time MVP of Tahoma's cross-country squad, and was a track MVP in 2002 ... took ninth in the 3200m at the 2002 state 4A track championships, after finishing 16th in 2000 ... had her name engraved on “The Brick,” Tahoma's most prestigious athletic award ... prep teammate of Husky hurdler Brad Goodrich.
