Expected to compete in cross country for the first time after missing his two fall seasons with a back injury ... won six state titles as a prep, including back-to-back titles in cross country (2003 and 2004) and a sweep of 1600m and 3200m crowns his sophomore and junior seasons.
2005-06: Missed second-straight fall season with a back injury suffered in high school ... made collegiate debut as a rabbit in the mile at the Last Chance Qualifier in March ... ran first full collegiate race two weeks later, placing sixth in the 1500m at the UW Outdoor Preview .. ran season-best time of 3:55.55 for 1500m at Stanford.
2004-05: Redshirted the cross country and track seasons while rehabilitating a preseason back injury.
