Standout track performer will run cross country for the first time as a Husky after concluding her track career in the spring ... in her first season at UW after transferring from BYU, earned All-America honors in the indoor mile, won the NCAA West Region 1500-meter title, and ran the 1500m at the U.S. Olympic Trials ... ranks in UW's all-time Top-10 in five events, including in the top-five in the indoor 800m, mile, 1500m, and DMR ... has not competed in cross country since 2005.
2007-08: Had the best track season of her career in her only season as a Husky, earning All-American honors indoors, winning an NCAA West Regional title, and running in the U.S. Olympic Trials ... made the move from 800m to running mostly the mile and 1500m and it paid off in spades ... finished 9th at the NCAA Indoor Championships, earning her first career All-America award ... qualified for NCAA's with a lifetime-best mile run of 4:40.08 at the UW Last Chance Qualifier; the third-best time in school history ... at NCAA Indoors, also ran the 800-leg of UW's 11th-place DMR ... part of UW's school-record distance medley relay which ran 11:12.77 at the MPSF Championships ... outdoors, captured the NCAA West Region 1500-meter title in a time of 4:14.94, which was a PR by nearly nine seconds and the fourth-fastest in school history ... only the third women's Regional champ in Husky history ... ran 8th in her semifinal heat at NCAA's in 4:20.06 after being hindered by a crash in front of her, missing the final and placing 15th overall ... made the semifinals of the 1500-meters at the U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing 12th in her semi heat ... her Trials quarterfinal run of 4:18.79 was the second-best of her career and the 15th-best quarterfinal time ... won the 1500-meters at the WSU dual in 4:25.46 ... 3rd in the 800m at the Pepsi Team Invite in 2:08.31 ... ran the 800 at Pac-10's, finishing 6th in 2:09.84 ... did not compete during cross country season.
2006-07 (BYU): Named to the All-MWC Team for track ... reached the semifinals in the 800m at the NCAA Championships ... set a new MWC Championship record in the 800 meters with her time of 2:05.44 ... took fifth in the 800 meters at the West Region meet ... placed seventh in the 800m at the MWC Indoor Invitational ... ran a season-best time in the 1500m (4:24.41) at the ASU/Clif Bar Invitational ... ran on the 4x800m relay team that set a BYU record of 8:39.84 at the Penn Relays ... and ran on the third place 4x400 relay team at the MWC Championships.
2005-06 (BYU): During cross country season, had a time of 19:34.8 in the BYU Alumni Invitational ... ran in the BYU Autumn Classic with a time of 20:16.5 ... placed fourth with a time of 19:27 at the Big Green Invite ... great track season culminated at NCAA Championships, running the 800m in a then-personal best of 2:07.0 ... finished fifth in the 800m at the NCAA West Region Championships with a time of 2:09.40 ... won the 800-meter title at the MWC Outdoor Championships with a time of 2:08.65 ... won the 1500m at the Stanford Invitational with a time of 4:27.59 ... took home a MWC Indoor Championship title in the 800m with a time of 2:14.05 ... finished tenth in the 800m (2:12.47) and ran in the eighth-place 4x400m relay (4:07.13) at the UW Indoor Invitational ... finished 11th in the 800m at the Husky Indoor Classic with a time of 2:08.59 ... placed fourth in the 800m at ASU Invitational with a time of 2:21.06.
2004-05 (BYU): Finished sixth in the 4x400 relay (3:57.99) at the Husky Invitational ... placed third in the 800m at the MWC Indoor Championships with a time of 2:15.43 ... took fifth and passed the meet record for the 800m (2:12.49) at the Stanford Invitational ... finished fourth in the 800m at the MWC Outdoor Championships with a personal-best time of 2:11.09 ... redshirted the cross country season.
High School and Personal: Married to Matthew Turner ... parents are Gordon and Kathleen Lindsay ... brother, Bryan, ran for both BYU men's cross country and track teams, earning All-American honors ... also has three other brothers ...
