2005-06: Ran just once in the fall, placing 21st at the Sundodger Invite ... was UW's No. 2 competitor at 5000m, and was among the team's leaders in the mile and 1500m ... clocked a lifetime-best 16:51.96 for 5K at the Stanford Invite ... ran legs on UW's No. 5 and No. 10 distance medley relays all-time ... led DMR to fifth at the MPSF indoor meet ... individually, ran 20th in the 3000m at MPSFs, and 17th in the 5K at the Pac-10 meet ... earned Academic All-Pac-10 honorable mention for both cross country and track.
2004-05: Was UW's sixth finisher at Regionals ... ran third for UW at the Sundodger and Willamette Invites, and was fifth on the team at Pre-Nationals ... redshirted the 2005 indoor season with an injury, and ran sparingly outdoors ... was 13th in the 5000m at Pac-10s ... earned Academic All-Pac-10 honorable mention for both track and cross country.
2003-04: Ran in UW's top-seven at every varsity meet ... one of four freshmen in UW's top-seven at the NCAAs ... ran fifth for UW at NCAAs, helping the team to 19th ... ran fifth for UW at Regionals, and fourth at Pac-10s ... became just the second freshman ever to win their UW debut with a victory at the Emerald City Invite ... a Pac-10 track qualifier at 1500m and 5000m, despite competing just four times ... placed 12th in 1500m at the Texas Relays, in 4:32.82 ... indoors, led DMR to a third-place MPSF finish.
High School and Personal: Born in Humble, Tex. ... parents are Daria and Tim ... has five siblings ... named a Verizon Prep All-American at 3000m in 2002 and 2003 ... named prep All-American by Nike and Harrier Magazine in 2001 and 2002 ... led Jenks to league, district and state cross titles all four years ... the three-time state 5A cross country champ, and five-time state track champ ... took second at state cross in 2001, while injured ... ranked sixth nationally at 3200m in 2003 ... placed third in the 3K at the 2003 U.S. Junior Nationals, and was fifth in 2002 ... ran second in the mile, in 4:50.90, at the 2003 Golden West Games ... earned two top-five finishes at the 2002 Nike Indoor meet ... set a meet record in the HS girls 1600m at the 2003 Texas Relays ... was honored as the state's top cross country runner with the Jim Thorpe Award, and was a finalist for the Wendy's High School Heisman ... competed for the U.S. at the 2003 Pan Am Junior Championships ... also won two state team titles and three state relay titles in swimming, and was a three-time top-five individual finisher ... earned a 4.28 GPA.
