A consistent top-seven performer throughout the past two cross country seasons ... has twice appeared at the USA Cross Country Championships ... has been limited by injury throughout his track career.
2006-07: Led UW men to 12th at the NCAA Championships with a 179th-place individual effort, fifth among Huskies ... was also UW's No.5 runner at Pac-10s (38th overall) and Regionals (50th) ... clocked 8K cross country PR of 24:41 at Pac-10s, 15 seconds faster than his previous best ... also ran with the varsity at the Sundodger and Dellinger Invites, and was in the open race at Pre-Nationals ... earned Academic All-Pac-10 honorable mention ... competed just once indoors, placing 17th in the 5000m at the Last Chance Qualifier ... ran the 3000m, 5000m, and 10000m during the outdoor season, with a second-place finish at the Ken Shannon Invite at 5000m.
2005-06: Helped UW to fourth at the Pac-10 meet with a 30th-place finish, fourth-best by a UW runner ... was the team's first alternate runner at both Regionals and NCAAs ... was No. 6 UW runner, in 26th overall, at the season-opening Sundodger Invitational ... also ran 27th in an unattached performance at Willamette ... earned Academic All-Pac-10 honorable mention for cross country ... did not compete during the 2006 track season.
2004-05: Ran at the Emerald City and Sundodger Invites in the fall, placing second and 20th, respectively ... earned top-10 finishes in his only two outdoor track appearances, both at 5000m ... ran indoors in the mile and 3000m.
2003-04: Redshirted the cross country and track seasons ... was among the Huskies' highest-finishing redshirts at all four cross country meets in which he competed ... ran in the Emerald City, Sundodger and Geoduck Invitationals, and in the open race at the Pac-10 Championships ... placed eighth at the Geoduck ... in March, ran a career-best 8000m cross country time of 25:40 to place 18th at the U.S. Junior Nationals ... competed four times unattached during the track season, including twice each indoors and out ... won first-career outdoor 5K race with a time of 14:52.86 at the Ken Shannon Invite ... also attempted the 10000m.
