EUGENE, Ore. - The No. 19/15 University of Oregon softball team (25-8, 4-4) owned a 3-2 lead over No. 7/8 Washington (33-6, 4-5) in the fifth inning in Tuesday's series opener before a 3 1/2-hour rain delay halted play.
The two teams will finish the game Wednesday morning at 9 a.m., and will then play a second game immediately after.
No third game will be played Wednesday per Pac-12 rules, and no official word was available about the potential status for a third game later in the season.
