2016: Competed just twice on the year, throwing javelin at the Pepsi Team Invitational, taking sixth with a mark of 134-3 β¦ next threw at the Ken Shannon Invite, taking third with a mark of 134-7.
2015: Competed at the Pac-12 Championships for the second time in the javelin β¦ best mark on the year came in her season opener, throwing 143-0 at the Baldy Castillo Invite in Arizona β¦ was third in the UW-WSU Dual with a throw of 139-9 β¦ finished 11th in the javelin at the Pac-12 Championships, going 133-2 β¦ third at the Pepsi Team Invitational with a mark of 134-6.
2014: Scored at her first Pac-12 Championships in the javelin and advanced to NCAA West Prelims β¦ at the Pac-12 meet, she placed eighth with a best of 148-feet, 7-inches β¦ set a personal-best with a throw of 149-10 at the Oregon Relays which moved her to seventh on the UW top-10 list β¦ qualified for West Prelims and threw 134-2 at the meet to finish 43rd overall β¦ competed at the USA Junior Championships, finishing 12th with a best of 135-4 β¦ was third in the UW-WSU Dual going 142-4 β¦ won her first college meet, throwing 140-0 to take the Trojan Invitational title.
High School and Personal: Born in Kirkland, Washington β¦ parents are Amy and Shawn Alexander β¦ has two sisters, Alex and Jadynn β¦ one of the top javelin throwers in the state of Washington, taking second at the 4A state championships in both 2012 and 2013 β¦ in the finals of her junior season, she threw a 16-foot personal-best of 143-feet, 9-inches to take second in the javelin β¦ also saved her best for last at state in 2013, throwing a season-best 142-3 β¦ was second in the javelin at the WesCo Championships and district meet in 2012 and 2013 β¦ as a sophomore, took eighth at state with a best throw of 126-6 β¦ graduated with a 3.2 GPA.
