Game One Between Washington And Oregon Rained Out

SEATTLE - The opening Pac-10 game of the 2011 season for No. 6 Washington and No. 14 Oregon will have to wait until Saturday. Heavy rain has poured into Husky Softball Stadium all day leading to UW staff to call off tonight's 6 p.m. game. The two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
FSN was scheduled to air the game. Currently no decision has been made on whether a future game will be used as a make-up or not.
Both of Saturday's games can be heard live on 1150 A.M. KKNW with John Cowley and Mike Brown. Live audio/video and stats will be available on www.gohuskies.com.
