Five Huskies Earn Pac-10 Academic Honors

Complete Academic All-Pac-10 Team in PDF Format 
Five members of the No. 1-ranked Washington softball team earned honors for their work in the classroom as the Academic All-Pac-10 team was announced today.
Junior infielder Morgan Stuart, the Huskies' regular starting third baseman, was named to the first team. Stuart, a junior psychology major from Riverside, Calif., boasts a 3.48 grade point average.
Senior Amanda Fleischman, a second baseman from Woodinville, Wash., made the second team. She's an accounting major with a 3.36 GPA.
Additionally, senior outfielder Alyson McWherter (Lakewood, Wash.), senior shortstop Jenn Salling (Port Coquitlam, B.C.) and sophomore catcher/outfielder Taylor Smith (Olympia, Wash.) earned honorable mention.
