Today's game marked the first for Tyrone Willingham in the newly-remodeled & rebuilt Stanford Stadium (which opened last season). Since leaving The Farm following the 2001 season, Willingham entered the game with a 3-1 record against his former employer.

Erick Lobos earned his first career start at defensive tackle. The Stanford game marked his 32nd appearance in four seasons as a Husky.

Jake Locker surpassed the Washington school record for rushing yards by a quarterback on his 17-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. He surpassed Dennis Fitzpatrick, who rushed for 697 yards in 1974. Locker entered the game with 694 yards - just three shy of Fitzpatrick.

Louis Rankin surpassed the 100-yard mark for the second time this season and the seventh time in his career. His last 100-yard performance was a 147-yard performance at Syracuse.

Ryan Perkins connected on a 41-yard field goal in the second period, the second-longest of his career at UW.

Jared Ballman attempted the first field goal of his career with :10 seconds left in the second period - a 47-yard attempt that missed wide right.

Washington either led or was tied at halftime in seven of its nine games this season - after leading the Cardinal by a 10-3 margin.

E.J. Savannah registered his first career sack early in the third period.

Jordan Muchison saw his first action on the Husky defense this season in the third period. He played briefly on special teams during the Arizona game the previous week.

Johnie Kirton registered his first reception of the season in UW's first drive of the third quarter - a 10 yard catch for a first down.

Washington surpassed the 400-yard mark in total offense for the third-straight game and the fifth time this season. The high on the year was the 572-yard effort against Arizona and the second (before today) was the 444-yard outing at Syracuse in the season opener.
