
Women's Golfers in Second Place After First Round of Nittany Lion Invitational

University Park, Pa. - The Washington women's golf team started their 2006-07 season off with a strong showing in the first round of the Nittany Lion Women's Invitational on the Penn State Blue Course in University Park, Penn. today. Senior Amber Prange led the Huskies, shooting a four-over 76 that was good for a tie for second.
Seniors Amy Wang and Courtney McCracken sit in a tie for eighth place, shooting six-over 78s. Newcomer Molly Aronsson shot a 10-over 82, while junior Kim Shin sits in a tie for 33rd with an 11-over 83.
The Huskies tee off for the second round at 10:15 a.m. PT on Saturday, Sept. 23.
