Brymer, Ardies Drop Doubles Match at ITA Championships

LOS ANGELES - Husky sophomore Victoria Brymer (Apple Valley, Calif.) and Joyce Ardies (Sao Paolo, Brazil) lost 8-5 in the first round of the qualifying doubles of the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships on Tuesday.
Brymer and Ardies lost to Marianne Baker and Elanor Peters of Maryland at the Riviera Tennis Club in Los Angeles. Ardies, a transfer from Tulane University, was making her Husky debut.
Tara Simpson (Vancouver, B.C.) and Brymer lost on Saturday in the first round of the qualifying singles bracket of the ITA Championships.
