
Washington Remains In 12th Through Second Round at Stanford

Stanford, Calif. - The Washington Husky women's golf team sits in 12th through two rounds at the Stanford Intercollegiate, held at the Stanford Golf Course. Freshman Molly Aronsson continues to lead the Huskies, sitting in a tie for 14th at 1-over 143.
Stanford overtook Arizona for first place through two rounds, shooting a 6-under 278 on the day for a two-day total of 564. Georgia sits in third place, shooting a 2-over 570 through two rounds. Georgia's Whitney Wade leads the individual race at 6-under 136.
Senior Amber Prange carded a four-over 75 during the second round, bringing her two-day total to a 9-over 151 and a tie for 43rd. Junior Kim Shin sits in a tie for 50th, with her 5-over 76 adding to her two-day total of 153. Molly Boyle is in 64th at 15-over 157, while Amy Wang's 7-over 78 put her in 76th after two days.
The Huskies hope to bounce back during the third and final of the Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday, Oct. 22. UW tees off at 8:20 a.m.
