Washington Head Coach Patty McCain:
On the comeback win: "(Dinka) so much heart and so tough, it's just incredible. This group has just been so tough all year, to come back from the edge of death so many times. Mugette (Ahn) coming back and performing like that after being so far down is just incredible. In such a big situation they were so tight. In the past we've been able to step up and dominate but they were just a little afraid to lose so they weren't playing to win, so to speak, they were playing a little bit more not to lose. But it didn't matter in the end."
Washington Sophomore Dinka Hadzic
On winning the clinching match: "That was the best match I've ever played in my entire life, thinking about the whole team and everything being on the line. It was amazing. The crowd was just amazing, Patty (McCain), the team - they got me through it. It was awesome."
On feeling the pressure of being the deciding match: "I've never felt as much pressure as I did then. I felt like everything was on the line, everything we worked for the whole year. But we pulled it off together, it wasn't just me it was all of us."
On going to Athens for the Sweet 16: "It feels pretty amazing. We've still got a long way to go. We'll see what happens."
Washington Senior Claire Carter
On her win over Daria Panova in final her home match: "I had lost to her five or six times and then I beat her last time, but never in straight sets. I was really impressed with how I played today, I was very tough. I knew I had to come out and play well in my final match here for the team."
Oregon Head Coach Nils Schyllander
On the heartbreaking loss: "It was a great match. They didn't beat us today, it could have gone either way. We have two match points, we played them great and she (Dinka Hadzic) had match points and we played them great, it could have gone either way. It was the luck of the draw and they came out ahead. But I've never been more proud of an Oregon team before."
