
Husky Gymnasts Finish Second at Cal

Berkeley, CA - The 12th-ranked Washington women's gymnastics team finishes second in a three-way meet at California that included Sacramento State. The Huskies scored 194.850 to place behind the host Golden Bears. Cal won the meet with a school record score of 196.475. The Hornets were third at 189.775.
Washington was led by sophomore Carly Dockendorf who scored 9.900 on floor exercise to tie for first place. Kim Lewis was second on bars with a score of 9.875. Stacy Wong turned in a third-place showing on vault with a 9.900.
California sophomore My-Lan Dodd claimed top honors in the all-around with a career-high score of 39.500. Dodd also finished tied for first with teammate Miho Maeda on the balance beam, both tallying 9.850 marks.
